It's Opening Day!!!

Opening day has finally arrived for Sun Devil Baseball so it makes sense that we should take a quick look back at a previous Valentine's Day. It was on this date in 2004 that Dustin Pedroia (pictured here with the Red Sox) led the #7 Sun Devils to an 11-0 drubbing of Utah.

Kelly Dominates in MLB

#SunDevil4Life Merrill Kelly now pitches for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. Kelly pitched for the Sun Devils in 2010 and was subsequently drafted by Tampa Bay in the 8th round. Merrill is shown here pitching against the New York Yankees on 1 May, 2019. Kelly dominated the Yankees going 5.1 strong innings for the win.
