Brian Serven played 3 seasons as the Sun Devil's primary catcher and was a run-producing machine. Serven was selected in the 5th round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies. In 2019, he got a non-roster invitation to spring training with the Rockies and hit 9 HR in 77 games for AA Hartford. We look forward to adding him to the list of Sun Devils in MLB in the near future.
Ryan Burr, ASU Baseball's all-time saves leader, underwent Tommy John surgery last week and is unlikely to return to the White Sox before the middle of the 2020 season. Burr was lights-out at home during the 2019 season, posting a 2.57 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 7 innings out of the bullpen at Guaranteed Rate Field.
On this date 6 years ago, Ryan Kellogg no-hit 3rd-Ranked Oregon State. The no-hitter was the 9th in Sun Devil Baseball history, but the 1st to come against a PAC-10/12 opponent, and only the 2nd on the road. Ryan is currently in the Chicago Cubs organization.
Third Baseman Dalton Dinatale fires on to Andrew snow at Second. Dinatale spent 3 seasons as a fixture in the Sun Devil's defence from 2013-2015.
